At LKQ Engine & Transmission, customer satisfaction and product reliability are our top priorities. We proudly provide quality used, rebuilt, remanufactured, and recycled engines and transmissions backed by limited warranty protection for added peace of mind. Our warranty program is designed to help customers purchase with confidence while ensuring dependable performance and support.
Engine Warranty Coverage
Our engine warranty generally covers the long block assembly and internally lubricated components under normal operating conditions. External accessories and attached components may be included for convenience only and are not covered unless specifically stated. These items can include sensors, intake manifolds, exhaust manifolds, fuel injectors, wiring harnesses, water pumps, and other bolt-on accessories.
To maintain warranty eligibility, customers must replace all necessary gaskets, seals, timing components, filters, fluids, thermostats, and cooling system parts during installation. Proper maintenance and manufacturer-recommended service procedures must also be followed.
Transmission Warranty Coverage
Transmission warranties typically apply to internally lubricated transmission components only. External electrical parts, sensors, solenoids, mounts, and torque converters may not be covered unless specifically listed in writing.
Customers are responsible for replacing transmission fluid, filters, seals, and related service components before operating the vehicle. Improper installation or failure to follow installation requirements may void warranty coverage.
Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover labor costs, towing charges, rental vehicles, improper installation, overheating, neglect, abuse, racing, off-road use, or damage caused by failed external components. Unauthorized repairs or modifications may also void the warranty.
Claims & Support
If a warranty issue occurs, our team may repair, replace, or refund the original purchase price of the part at our discretion. All warranty claims require proof of purchase and installation documentation.
